Stage Production Manager
The Concert Event team is an ad-hoc team which operates based on pre-agreed contracts between external artists or collaborating companies to deliver the events as agreed.
You will be working as the primary AV Contractor contact, with a comprehensive
understanding of all production requirements for the concert.
You will work closely with Event director team to successfully deliver the concert, with your primary focus on:
- Collaborating with existing SMASH departments, including marketing, creative, IT, crew, guests, and operations, to ensure the concert runs smoothly on the day.
The responsibilities for the role is as follows:
- Working closely with the Event director, AV Contractor, Venue, Talent team and
Agency Team to ensure seamless event execution. - Serve as a Primary contact for contractors and stage production, collaborating
closely with the artist’s production team. - Assisting in the show running from the production desk during rehearsals and the main event, while working closely with the event director in producing operational run sheets.

- Contactable on a regular basis via email and phone
- Excellent communication skills in English, and other languages a bonus
- Attend meetings, workshops and activities as required
- Available for convention day(s) in Sydney, Australia
- Available on call for emergencies such as crisis communication (within reason)
- Strong time-management skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong Knowledge in stage production
